@Marie – Thanks for the comment! To be honest, I was mostly teasing and being a bit of a wise ass. I’m sure there are just as many people who have read less than 10 books.

@Amanda – Well I thought it would be nice to start doing them as I didn’t last year. Also it’s incentive to read books and comment on/link to more blogs, so I have something to post at the end of the month!

I saw your comment about “only” reading a few books in January and I have to say, I’m right there with you- don’t feel bad! Apart from graphic novels, which are short and don’t count, I only read 3 novels in January, too!

Can I first just say I HATE MR. LINKY!!! How many times has our GLBT challenge page gone down now?? I hope Jason gets his Linky application working soon because this is ridiculous.

I’m afraid this doesn’t sound like the sort of book I could read, but for those into heavy fantasy, this sounds like a brilliant selection!

Sounds like quite a collection. I read my first Nnedi Okorafor story a few months back and it was a very strong story. It was On the Road and was in the Eclipse 3 anthology. Made me want to read more of Okorafor’s work.

Thanks so much for the link! I’ve returned the favor at my blog. Remembering to pay attention to covers is probably going to be difficult for me for awhile as well, but thankfully the internet isn’t entirely permanent, so if I realize I forgot to make note of a cover I can always go back and edit my review!
